RILEY NEWMAN and MATT WRIGHT:

DYLAN FRAZIER and JW JOHNSON:

- Beat the number 24 seeds, Garrett Whitehead and Gabriel Tardio, in the semis.
- Won the National Indoor Championships in February.
- Four bronze medals together in 2023.
- JW won Mixed gold with his sister Jorja here.

LUCY KOVALOVA and CALLIE SMITH:
- Top seeds won three matches without losing a game.
- Last Gold: National Indoor Championships in February.
- Last Tournament: Bronze medal at Red Rock Open.
- Kovalova is the PPA’s all-time leader in women’s doubles gold medals with 20. (13 w/Jardim, 7 w/Smith) A.L. Waters is next with 15.
ANNA BRIGHT and ANDREA KOOP:
- The number 3 seeds lost only one game in three matches.
- Bright has three Women’s Doubles golds this year with A.L. Waters, most recently in Austin March 19.
- Bright is coming off a Mixed Doubles gold at Red Rock with James Ignatowich.
- Koop loves Newport Beach: Last November she won Women’s Doubles Gold with Vivienne David and Mixed Doubles gold with AJ Koller here at the Takeya Showcase.
- Koop was on a National Championship tennis team at UCLA. (UCLA is 52 miles away.)

- LUCY and MATT: They have both won golds in Men’s and Women’s Doubles in the same tournament FIVE times, most recently at the Orange County Cup in June 2022. Their two Mixed Doubles Gold medals together were both in 2021.
- VINCE VAN PATTEN: The actor, World Poker Tour commentator, and former Top 100 tennis pro won a silver medal playing with Mark Hamilton in Men’s Senior Pro Doubles.
