|The Daytona Beach Open presented by Roar is kicking off on December 18th and the professional draws for all five divisions of play have officially been released. It’s time to dive into the excitement!

Womens Doubles
- Defending medalists: Parenteau/Waters, Kovalova/Smith, Jade Kawamoto/Schneemann
- AL Waters and Leigh Waters are the 2 seed – only event for ALW.
- Bright and Jackie Kawamoto are the top seed in their first tourney together.
- Dallas Flash MLP Champions Jorja Johnson and Tyra Black are the (3) seed.
- Watch out for: Allyce Jones and Tina Pisnik (4) – elite defense could get them deep in the tourney.
Mens Doubles
- Defending medalists: Frazier/Johnson, Alshon/Garnett, Loong/Young
- Patriquin and Staksrud (1) have won all 3 prior events they have entered, including the Finals.
- Collin Shick and his brother Braden (14) make their PPA Tour debut.
- Wright and Koller (4) are must see TV.
- Watch out for: Daescu and Klinger (3) – righty/lefty vet/youngster combo could be lethal.
Mixed Doubles
- Defending medalists: Waters/Johns, Jorja/JW Johnson, David/Wilson
- Bright/Bar (1) grab the top seed in their first tournament together.
- Hustlin’ MLP teammates Jackie Kawamoto and CJ Klinger are a dangerous 8 seed.
- Leigh Waters returns and is paired with the talented PPA Pro Player Director Dillon Segur (24)
- Watch out for: Jorja Johnson and Hayden Patriquin (2) – teenagers ready to roll (JW Johnson not playing this tourney).
Womens Singles
- Defending medalists: Devidze, Schneemann, Stratman
- Lea Jansen (1) carries the pressure of the top seed.
- Devidze (3) grabbed the only win over Waters in ’24 and returns to defend her title.
- AL Waters and Fahey in other events but not singles.
- Watch out for: Genie Bouchard (6) – had some great runs in singles in the back half of ’24 and is poised for more.
Mens Singles
- Defending medalists: Johns, McGuffin, Garnett
- Staksrud (1) dominated singles in ’24, will he pick up where he left off?
- Shick (3) returns to where he shocked the world as a qualifier and made a run to the Finals.
- All ’23 medalists not playing in ’24.
- Watch out for: Michael Loyd (2) – can’t claim to be the Cinderella story as the 2 seed.
