MIXED DOUBLES FINAL: (2) Jorja Johnson and JW Johnson def. (1) Anna Leigh Waters and Ben Johns, 8-11, 11-7, 11-6, 3-11, 11-8. 

  • Waters and Johns are 48-2 in finals together. (Waters, 50 overall; Johns, 63 overall).
  • Johnsons now 1-8 in finals against Waters and Johns, and 2-18 overall.
  • Johnsons’ third career title together.
  • 20th overall career title for JW Johnson.
  • Johns had a match-high 14 Clean Winners.
  • Longest rally: 86 shots.

MEN’S DOUBLES FINAL: (2) Ben Johns and Gabe Tardio def. (1) Hayden Patriquin and Federico Staksrud, 11-9, 11-5, 10-12, 13-11.

  • Second title together for Johns and Tardio (Texas Open in March).
  • Third silver this season for Patriquin and Staksrud.
  • Four consecutive silvers for Stakrsrud (two with Patriquin, two with Alshon)
  • Just the sixth time in any doubles final (M, W, MX) since the start of 2022 that all four players had at least ten Clean Winners.
  • 17 Serve and Return errors overall.
  • Patriquin and Staksrud had four Game Points in Game Four, but lost that game and the match. Teams that squander GP’s in that fashion in finals lose 76% of those matches.

  • Second career Doubles title for Black (also won Texas Open with Todd in March)
  • Parenteau and Waters are 31-4 in finals together.
  • Parenteau and Waters first loss in a final to a someone other than Bright and Rohrabacher.
  • Black had a match-high 14 Clean Winners.
  • Black and Johnson had more Clean Winners (22-14), fewer Serve/Return/Thirds errors (8-5), and fewer volleys into the net (18-11).
