MIXED DOUBLES FINAL: (1) Anna Leigh Waters and Ben Johns def. (2) Jorja Johnson and JW Johnson, 10-12, 11-4, 11-2, 8-11, 11-6.

  • The 100-shot rally at 7-9-1 on Game One was the longest rally in any final since the start of 2022. The rally lasted one minute and 34 seconds, and Waters hit 36 crosscourt dinks.
  • Waters and Johns’ 57th title together, and 13th this year.
  • Waters and Johns had fewer errors on Serves/Returns/Thirds, 10-5.
  • Waters and Johns had fewer Volleys into the net, 24-18.
  • Longest rally: 100 shots.

MEN’S DOUBLES FINAL: (1) Ben Johns and Gabe Tardio def. (2) Christian Alshon and Andrei Daescu, 11-8, 11-8, 11-5.

  • Johns and Tardio’s 9th title together, all this year.
  • Johns and Tardio: no Dinks into the net or wide.
  • Johns and Tardio had more Clean Winners, 19-15.
  • Longest rally: 33 shots.

WOMEN’S DOUBLES FINAL: (1) Anna Bright and Anna Leigh Waters def. (5) Jackie Kawamoto and Jade Kawamoto, 11-8, 11-4, 11-3.

  • Bright and Waters have 14 titles together (7 this year and 7 in 2023).
  • Bright and Waters had fewer Dinks into the net or wide, 14-1.
  • The Kawamotos’ only Serve/Return error was on match point.
  • Kawamotos lost 8 of the 12 rallies in which they hit an offensive lob.
  • Longest rally: 55 shots.

MEN’S SINGLES FINAL: (11) Roscoe Bellamy def. (2) Hunter Johnson, 11-9, 5-11, 11-3.

  • Bellamy’s first career PPA title.
  • Bellamy had more clean winners, 12-7.
  • Bellamy, at six-foot-five, is the PPA’s tallest champion in any division.
  • Longest rally: 28 shots. The longest in any final this year.

WOMEN’S SINGLES FINAL: (1) Anna Leigh Waters def. (8) Chow Yi “Zoey” Wang, 11-3, 11-1. 

  • Waters has now won 19 straight tournaments played.
  • Waters had no errors on Serves and Returns.
  • Waters had more Clean Winners, 12-7.
  • Waters had fewer Baseline Drive Errors, 14-5.
  • Wang avoided a “pickle” in Game Two by scoring at 0-10.
  • Longest rally: 11 shots.
