MIXED DOUBLES FINAL: (1) Anna Leigh Waters and Ben Johns def. (2) Jorja Johnson and JW Johnson, 11-7, 11-7, 10-12, 11-3.

  • Waters/John’s 40th career title together, and 13th this year.
  • Waters/Johns now 6-0 in finals vs. Johnson/Johnson.
  • The Johnsons hit twice as many volleys into the net, 31-15.
  • In Game Three, Waters/Johns squandered at least one game point, lost that game, then went on to win the match. That reversal has been accomplished only six times in 34 instances since the start of 2022, including all men’s, women’s and mixed doubles finals.
  • Longest rally: 57 shots.

MEN’S DOUBLES FINAL: (3) Hayden Patriquin and Federico Staksrud def. (1) Ben Johns and Collin Johns, 11-9, 6-11, 3-11, 11-8, 11-2.

  • Patriquin/Staksrud’s second title together this year.
  • Johns/Johns now 18-3 in title matches since the start of 2023, and 32-8 overall.
  • Johns/Johns had a one-point penalty in Game Three at 7-9-1 for improperly calling for a time-out. Patriquin/Staksrud won the next four points, then the first eight points in Game Four. (12 unanswered points overall)
  • Staksrud did not make an error on a serve, return, or third shot.
  • Longest rally: 53 shots.

WOMEN’S DOUBLES FINAL: (1) Catherine Parenteau and Anna Leigh Waters def. (2) Anna Bright and Rachel Rohrabacher, 11-2, 11-7, 11-4.

  • Parenteau/Waters’ 23rd title together, and 12th this year.
  • Parenteau/Waters now 4-2 in finals vs. Bright/Rohrabacher.
  • Parenteau/Waters have lost only eleven games in their 25 finals matches together, six of those losses to Bright/Rohrabacher.
  • Parenteau and Waters had no dinking errors.
  • Parenteau/Waters had fewer volleys into the net, 18-8.
  • Longest rally: 32 shots.

MEN’S SINGLES FINAL: (2) Ben Johns def. (10) Hunter Johnson, 11-5, 11-9.

  • Johns’ 40th career PPA title and seventh this year.
  • Johns has now beaten 15 different players in PPA finals.
  • Johns won after playing nine games in the Men’s and Mixed Doubles finals.
  • Johnson had more clean winners (16-5), but also more errors on serves, returns, and baseline drives (15-5)
  • Johns trailed 8-3 in Game Two.
  • Longest rally: 19 shots.

WOMEN’S SINGLES FINAL: (1) Anna Leigh Waters def. Brooke Buckner, 9-11, 11-9, 11-6.

  • Waters’ 42nd career title and tenth this year.
  • Waters is 42-3 in singles finals, and 31-0 in finals since June of 2022 (Parris Todd)
  • Waters won after playing seven games in the Women’s and Mixed Doubles finals.
  • Waters has now beaten nine different players in PPA finals.
  • Waters, Buckner, Parenteau and Jardim are the only players to win consecutive women’s titles.
  • Buckner had more clean winners (18-7), but also more baseline drive errors (27-9).
  • Longest rally: 16 shots.
