Tom Protzek transitioned from a Division I soccer career at the University of Tulsa to the pro pickleball scene, making his PPA debut in November 2024. In just his second tournament, he made waves with a round of 16 finish in singles, pushing world No. 1 Federico Staksrud to three intense sets. Since then, Tom has continued to prove himself on tour, earning main draw wins across multiple events—including a recent round of 16 run after a standout victory over Michael Loyd.
