About Mohaned Alhouni
Mohaned “Mo” Alhouni was born and raised in Tripoli, Libya up until 15 years of age then he moved to Minnesota in the year 2011, which was a period of political protests and violence in Libya which eventually became a revolution. Mo continued to look for more opportunities through academics and tennis upon his arrival to the states. Mo played competitive tennis 20+ years, played collegiate tennis at Gustavus Adulphus college in which he was a 5 time All-American and an ITA National Singles Champion in 2017, reaching as high as #1 in all Division ||| tennis.
Mo started playing pickleball recreationally in May 2022 after being introduced to the sport by friends and family, and his first professional tournament was Lakeville Minnesota 2023. Since then, he’s been competing in several PPA tournaments and is quickly climbing up the rankings. Mo also is part of an MLP team “Las Vegas Night Owls” and sits on the tennis and pickleball board at Life time.
