Marcela Aguila Ampon is a professional pickleball player competing on the PPA Tour in women’s singles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. She has established herself as a notable competitor in the rapidly growing sport of professional pickleball.

Marcela Aguila Ampon is San Diego’s rising star in women’s pickleball. Introduced to the sport in September 2022, Hones immediately fell in love with the game and transitioned quickly due to her extensive tennis background. Hailing from a family of accomplished tennis professionals, Marcela is determined to make her mark in pickleball, carrying forward her family’s tradition of excellence in racquet sports. She made her first official appearance as an official PPA Gold Card touring pro during the 2024 Sacramento Open.
