Layne Sleeth is a professional pickleball player competing on the PPA Tour in women’s singles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. She has established herself as a notable competitor in the rapidly growing sport of professional pickleball.
Background & Career
Layne Sleeth originally from Toronto Canada and grew up playing hockey, soccer, golf, track and field and tennis. Sleeth is a Canadian U12 and U18 singles national champion in tennis. Sleeth played D1 tennis at the University of Oklahoma and graduated last May with a sociology degree. Sleeth was a 2x All-American, Big 12 Newcomer of the year, and earned Big 12 first team. In her last year at OU in 2023 Sleeth was the NCAA singles finalist. Her team made history at the school being NCAA finalists 2 times and having a 33-0 record at home. Sleeth then went on to play pro tennis after graduating for 8 months and then transitioned to pickleball. She is currently sponsored by Six Zero Pickleball.
