About Gabriel Joseph
Born in West Hills, CA, Gabriel Joseph is a full-time pickleball and tennis instructor at Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center. He began playing pickleball in 2019 with friends. A graduate of Cal State Northridge with a degree in nutrition and dietetics, Joseph made headlines on the PPA Tour at the 2023 Takeya Showcase when he defeated Federico Staksrud to win the gold medal in singles.
When he isn’t competing on the court or teaching, Joseph enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Neeka, traveling, exploring new restaurants, or just simply having dinner at his house and enjoying some TV.
A fan of tennis star Nick Kyrgios and musical artist Drake, Joseph’s paddle sponsor is ACE Pickleball. His clothing sponsor is Chubbies and his hair sponsor is HIS MIX from Mixed Chicks.
Joseph is also the proud owner of a brindle French Bulldog named Kobe.
