Background & Career

Los Angeles-native Blaine Hovenier found his passion for pickleball during the summer of 2023 following a successful collegiate tennis career at UCLA and SMU. While competing for the Bruins and Mustangs, Hovenier took home two NCAA conference titles – the PAC 12 championship in 2019 and American Conference championship in 2023.

Trading racquets for paddles, Hovenier is now rapidly ascending in the pickleball world, captivating audiences with his unwavering determination and athletic versatility. He currently resides in Dallas and is excited to continue competing on the PPA Tour.
